Hi.

I like to write about whatever comes to my mind. Whether that is visiting an abandoned house, or reading a good book, I like to talk. So, chat with me here about what you like! And welcome.

No Junk Food Challenge: Day 1

No Junk Food Challenge: Day 1

So this is how I am feeling about day one of the challenge.  Nothing.  It hasn't been hard.  I suspect because it's day one and not day seven.  My picture on that day will be interesting for sure.

This no junk food thing has turned into a 'try not to have any refined sugar' thing now too.  I can do it.

I also figure that I am not craving any sort of sweet or cheesy popcorn concoction today because I am still riding the fat wave from yesterday.  I ate so much garbage that it hasn't fully left my system yet, so tomorrow might be another story.  Uh oh...I just remembered the rest of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in my fridge at home....

No really, I want them now.

I won't though.  I have made a promise to myself to see this through!

Let me just add a little disclaimer here: I have never had, nor will I ever have issues with my body or food.  I loved myself when I was 30 pounds heavier and I love myself now.  This is all in good fun :) To see IF, no, that I can do it.  My willpower has been waning in recent years, time to exercise the old monster.

Look at me! I just made myself a decaf coffee with no sugar! It's disgusting! But see that?? NO SUGAR!

I should just give up now and call it a victory.
