I had to dress up for work last week. Ummmm....I never dress up. Ever. I hate it. Sometimes I think that it would be fun, and then I do it when the occasion calls for it and am like "UUGHHHHHHHHH" the whole time I am in said dress and heels #slobforlife.
Surprisingly though, I wasn't annoyed that I was dressing up for work. I GUESS it's fine when I only have to do it 4 times a year. The rest of the time I can show up in jeans and a t-shirt.
Maybe the nice day had something to do with my not being annoyed. I was also pretty tickled that there was a huge hole in the ass of my tights. It was like a dirty little secret I carried around all day. Well, until I told everyone.
Have to keep it real though people. They did say business casual. I most definitely bring the casual.
No snow. SIGH.
I felt the need to take a picture of my lunch....so?
The shitty thing about wearing a dress to work (or any article of clothing really) is that my office is so effing cold that my fingers stop working and typing becomes hard. Hence the Snuggie I have to wear at all times. I don't understand why it is so cold in there and no one freezes to death like I do. Maybe all the bitches I work with are always menstruating or something. Just kidding, I love all those bitches.
Co-worker (love her) went and bought me some lights for my little tree. It used to be a sad little thing, but now look at it! P.S- it's the top of what used to be a full-sized fake tree. That we stuffed into a pot. So now I have a reason to go to work...to gaze upon my lovely little tree and get through the next five days until my vacation begins. YUUUSSSSSS!
I always take a vacation over Christmas. I don't want to work during the best time of the year. Plus, my birthday is three days before Christmas and I refuse to work on my birthday. Or the time leading up to and after. Man, which reminds me, I really need to start my Christmas shopping. Every year I say I am going to get it over with early, and every year I am lying to myself.
I love this street. I walk down it every day during the holidays because almost every house is decorated. I often wonder if everyone got together and romantically decided to go in on the decorating together to make people happy (like me!), or if it's all just competition and they hate each other. Wanting to be the best at holiday decorating consumes them all year I bet. Where's the reality show for this? Doesn't everything else have one?
Like this house. They also blast Christmas music every night, from speakers pointed out the front windows. I personally love it, but I don't have to live with it.
I wonder how much their hydro bill is.
Talking to my mama! Hi mom! I love you!
Not to be outdone by the house above...
And I continue my regularly scheduled program of sitting on my ass in my pajamas.
