We Came, We Saw, We Kicked Its Ass!

I know I have been home from the UK for a while now, and I am sorry that I haven't written in some time, but you know how it is. England and Scotland were amazing. Almost too amazing to try and trivialize in this post. But lets just say that it was one of the best experiences of my life. I have been thinking about it a lot, and I truly feel a pull towards England. I feel like I left a piece of myself there, and that piece is constantly pulling me towards it. Who knows where life will take me? If I had the opportunity, I would move there in a second. Maybe I will create my own opportunity. Life is about taking chances right?? 

So now that I have had a taste of this thing called traveling, I want more. I am hungry for everything other countries have to offer. I have already decided where I want to go next: Alaska. This idea has always been in the back of my mind, and it originally started with wanting to take a cruise through the strait to see some whales and icebergs. But now it has blown itself up into something much more. Instead, I want to take a train from Anchorage to Fairbanks. It is a twelve hour train ride, but I would hop off to other places along the way and stretch it out to 10 days. But to finally get to Fairbanks would be awesome. It is near the top of the Arctic Circle, and I hear it is one of the best places on earth to view the Northern Lights. I will keep you posted on the details of that trip. 

So anyway, dear reader, not much is new. Just many thoughts and plans brewing and shaping. Isn't life grand??
