Goodbye DeerField Farm

Last weekend Dave and I headed out to his mom and stepdad's farm for a last goodbye party before they move.

Oh hello.

I was a bit sad about having to say goodbye to the farm.  I have been going up there to visit and relax for almost 10 years. 

Dave's mom and stepdad John threw a goodbye party for themselves and invited all of their friends and family, but the other half of it was a welcome party for the new owners and all of their friends and family.

So many people showed up, and surprisingly it was mostly the new owners' brood! Which was really nice and it was excellent to get to meet everyone.

We took a long walk into the back field where I received approximately 1,235 mosquito bites.

It's just so charming.

I will miss you immensely Deerfield Farm!
