Snow!!!

The day of my sister's wedding, I woke up pretty early, and as I was sleepily feeding the cats in the kitchen, I noticed that snow was falling. After stopping myself from running madly up the stairs to Dave yelling "It's snowing! It's snowing!", I sat and enjoyed the cozy peacefulness of the first (kind of, it's only the first one when it stays on the ground) snowfall. 

I knew that although it might not have stayed on the ground in Toronto, we would definitely find some a little further North. So the next day, into the car we piled, and off we went.

I'm excited to walk in snow, and maybe even throw a snowball!

Even though it's getting much colder, I refuse to give up my Tim Horton's Iced Caps.

And ta-da! We found some snow! It's not a lot, but we found it!

Winter sunny days are the best.

We were pretty much incredibly happy and are now really looking forward to the holidays. The rule is we can't really put anything up until after Nov. 11 (Remembrance Day). And that's coming up soon!

Tonight we are relaxing in front of the 'fire', drinking rum and eggnog, and catching up on shows.
